Brief Description:

YSP engages youth, 3rd-12th grade in environmental education and service learning projects in parks city-wide. The Youth Stewardship Program gives an understanding of their important role in building healthy social and natural communities. YSP utilizes a thematic curriculum to meet San Francisco Unified School District and national education standards. The program can be tailored to fit your group needs. Volunteers are welcome to assist in the planning and leading environmental education projects. Because youth are involved, volunteers must complete the application clearance process.
