Brief Description:

Ever wonder what happens to the dirty water from showers, baths, laundry and toilets after it goes down the drain?  What about the runoff from lawns and gardens, and rainwater and car washing?  The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) invites you to take a tour of one of our Wastewater Treatment Plant to find out how we get dirty water clean again!

NOTE: Students must be at least 10 years-old or in the 5th grade to tour facilities.  Maximum number of students and chaperones not to exceed 40.
