Brief Description:

Visit WildCare

Our center tours take place at WildCare in San Rafael. Class groups get a nose-to-nose view of native birds, reptiles and mammals in engaging programs tailored to meet the learning needs of each age group.

Programs are taught by a professional teacher/naturalist. Group Tours Programs are also available to groups other than schools and classes.

Meet Non-releasable Wild Animals

Each group will be introduced to the non-releasable wild animals in our courtyard and exhibit hall. These animals are our Wildlife Ambassadors and all of them have survived injury and rehabilitation but would be unable to fend for themselves in the wild.

We will tailor our presentation to animal/environment badges.

Grades Pre-school - 2nd Discover our animal neighbors in an active, fun-filled program taught by an experienced naturalist.

Grades 3 - 8 Learn about the place of wildlife in modern society, wildlife ecology and the work of WildCare’s animal rehabilitation hospital.
