Brief Description:

At the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, students will use their senses to discover the bounty of California farms and local food artisans. After a brief talk from our staff about farmers’ markets and sustainability, classes are invited to explore the market on their own in chaperoned groups to learn about seasonal fruits and vegetables.
